Job Summary

Plays a key role in managing litigated accounts and legal cases involving the Bank’s corporate commercial and leasing operations. This position supports legal strategy formulation, ensures compliance with legal standards, and contributes to the resolution of cases through litigation and advisory work. The role involves close coordination with internal teams and external legal entities to protect the Bank’s interests.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage all stages of litigation for assigned loan-related cases and assist in legal strategy development for corporate and leasing matters.
• Regularly update the Team Head and Business Unit on case progress and legal developments.
• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, opinions, and case briefs; maintain records in the Lexis Database.
• Provide legal advisory support and serve as a help desk for legal concerns related to accounts and cases.
• Handle pre-litigation matters and assess legal implications of account-related issues in coordination with relevant units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws degree; must be a licensed lawyer.
• Solid understanding of corporate, civil, banking, and criminal laws.
• Strong skills in litigation, legal writing, negotiation, and decision-making.
• High level of professionalism, adaptability, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
