JOB SUMMARY:

The Head is primarily responsible for the management and supervision of the Risk Analytics, Systems & Control Unit (RASCU) of the Risk Management Group (RMG). He/She is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of credit risk management reports to the Risk Management Committee (RMC). He/She is also responsible for the generation of risk management-related MIS and analytics for the corporate/commercial and consumer portfolios, development, redevelopment, implementation, maintenance, performance monitoring, and validation of all credit risk rating and scoring models. He/She is also responsible for the proper management and security of data residing in the Risk Data Mart (RDM), which is used by the unit in its analytics and modeling function.


 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. MIS, Analytics and Reporting

  • Review of MIS and analytics generated by RASCU for the credit risk portfolio, including both Corporate/Commercial Loan Portfolio and Consumer Loan Portfolio, highlighting any adverse trends and significant risk profiles / characteristics of the portfolios
  • Ensure that the analytical tools / framework used in credit risk profiling of both the Corporate/Commercial Portfolio and Consumer Portfolio remains useful and relevant
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of the Credit Risk Report to the Risk Management Committee (RMC) on a monthly basis

 

B. Model Development, Implementation, Monitoring and Validation

  • Ensure proper review, approval and documentation of all developed/redeveloped credit risk models for both the Corporate/Commercial and Consumer Portfolios

 

C. Data Management and Systems Control/Support

  • Ensure proper supervision over the functions of the Data Management and Risk Systems Control Team
  •  Ensure the integrity and security of data residing in the Risk Data Mart (RDM)
  • Ensure that RASCU's servers and processing/modeling systems are regularly monitored in terms of capacity and properly maintained to avoid disruptions in the Unit's tasks / deliverables

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Graduate of Mathematics/Statistics/Economics/Finance related courses
  • Strong background in credit risk management, corporate/commercial or consumer segment
