Field Engineer

Job Description:

As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing IT technical support to BDO branches, subsidiaries, affiliates, and other BDO units. He addresses and resolves IT-related problem calls, projects, requests, and activities assigned to him.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Completion of assigned preventive and corrective maintenance tasks while complying with ITIO quality and service level standards.

• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software and hardware to resolve problems.

• Prepare equipment for use, ensuring proper installation of cables, hardware, operating systems, and appropriate software.

• Records the IT-equipment installed in the branches and offices he supports and regularly update the assigned tickets.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of BSCOE, ECE, Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Two years of experience preferred but not required in an IT field work assignment or repair center and background in IT equipment troubleshooting.

• Candidate must be willing to work in Makati.
