Job Summary

Develop detailed design and development of necessary code, configuration for the assigned IT application or platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership and Mentorship
  o Lead and guide developers, providing technical direction and coaching as necessary.
  o Promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and continuous improvement
  o Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code
  o Mentor team members across both modern and legacy technology stacks

• Architecture and Development
  o Design and develop scalable, high-performance systems and applications
  o Work across full-stack development, including UI, backend, and integrations
  o Drive system architecture decisions, ensuring alignment with business needs
  o Maintain and modernize legacy systems while integrating with new technologies

• Integration and Data EngineeringIntegration & Data Engineering
  o Design and implement system integrations (internal and third-party)
  o Build and optimize ETL pipelines for data processing and transformation
  o Develop and maintain RESTful / SOAP APIs and microservices
  o Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability across systems

• Database & Systems Management
  o Design, optimize, and maintain databases using MS SQL Server and Oracle
  o Perform query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization
  o Support database architecture and data modeling

• Security & Infrastructure Awareness
  o Enforce secure coding practices and application security standards
  o Contribute to system and server administration tasks when needed
  o Ensure compliance with security policies and data protection standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree relevant to the role
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in IT development 
• Very conversant programming languages like C, C#, Java, Javascript, Python, Ruby, PHP, SQL
• Hands on experience on 1-2 core Platforms like CRM, Mobile app development, ECM, Data etc with at least 2 end to end projects delivered.
• Conversant with programming/development tools like Development platforms/IDE, Configuration management, Code review etc.
• Worked with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas
