Developer

The IT Developer is responsible for designing, developing, configuring, testing, and maintaining software solutions that meet business and operational needs. This includes implementing packaged software and custom programming when necessary, as well as creating reports, data extracts, and scalable applications. The role involves collaborating with business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful software implementation and optimization. The developer ensures all solutions align with project goals, while maintaining performance, security, and adherence to development best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, test, and maintain software solutions to meet business and operational requirements
- Implement packaged software solutions and perform custom programming when necessary
- Create custom reports, data extracts, and scalable applications
- Collaborate with business users, technical teams, cross-functional teams, and vendors to ensure smooth implementation and optimization of software solutions
- Ensure software aligns with project objectives and business goals
- Optimize software for performance, maintainability, and security
- Provide ongoing technical support and system enhancements as needed
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

3-5 years proven experience in software development, configuration, and maintenance

Experience working with packaged software solutions and custom development (e.g., Java, Python, .Net)

Previous collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business users, technical staff, and vendors

Experience in managing software deployment, implementation, and post-launch support

Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies is a plus
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati
