Job Mandate

This role will be accountable for the end-to-end technical deliverables of Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) projects, meeting scope, schedule and its budget commitments.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Data & Analytics projects, delivering within scope, approved pro#ject schedule and budget commitments

2. Adheres to BDO's SDLC processes across Service Definition, Service Build, and Service Management

3. Assists in prioritization of Data & Analytics Projects as part of the business planning / demand planning cycle

4. Develop, maintain, track and report to project stakeholders, realistic project schedule, project budget.

5. Provide visibility on the project status to all relevant project stakeholders on the agreed frequency and timing.

6. Monitor, manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies throughout the whole project

7. Manage the project team, establish ways of working to ensure common understanding and alignment. Respon#sible in monitoring and taking timely action on the project resource plan e.g. onboarding and offboarding of re#sources; ensuring all project resources are properly and fully utilized by the project; ensure capacity / allocation

are reviewed and aligned with stakeholders, raise any performance concern – if BDO resource, internally; if third

party, with the vendor.

8. Collaborate with other stakeholders e.g. Project Managers, other platform Delivery Managers that integrates /

related with the Data & Analytics projects.

9. Oversee and manage day to day activities of the project team provide help, support and direction on any out#standing project concern or questions

10. Oversee and manage, provide test status updates during testing phases, especially during SIT and UAT; keeping

track of all the scope and timeline of testing, defects, and resolution with the identified owners (solvers and testers)

11. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members

12. Help assess change impact analysis, review changes required and handle change management process as neces#sary.

13. Escalate unresolved concerns / issues.

14. Responsible for vendors directly involved in providing the services for the delivery scope.

15. Ensure all project documentation and manuals are created with quality and on time. Ensure seamless transition

/ training from project team to Platform Prod support according to process.

16. Ensure project resources comply to all BDO mandated trainings.

17. Ensure the project complies with all bank policies, standards and procedures.

18. Ensure project complies to all BDO project management standards and methodologies.

19. Develop the right estimates on capacity needs, on-board and off-boarding timing and any performance issues or unforeseen contention for resources.

 

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering,

or related field

 

Work Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in Enterprise Data Platform and Delivery Manage#ment, preferably gained from a bank or financial institution.

Experience in handling complex projects on financial applications is highly preferred.

Experience in PMI/PRINCE2 PM framework and/or Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodol#ogy is a plus.

Knowledge and experience with data initiatives/projects and specific for EDP Delivery

Manager – Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL

Project Management certification is a plus.

effectively organize, plan, and lead multiple initiatives at once.

 Financial Management: Knowledge of budgeting, cost management, and finan#cial planning to ensure that service delivery stays within budget and aligns with

financial goals.

 Client Relationship Management: Can effectively communicate and under#stand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure client satisfaction

throughout the service delivery process.

 Analytical Skills: Problem-solving capabilities, strong analytical skills, and flexi#bility to be able to handle complex situations as necessary

 Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ap#titude for working in cross-functional teams.

 Adaptability: Agile in adapting to change and learning new technologies.

 Attention to Detail: High level of precision in coding, debugging, and documen#tation.

 Communication Skills: Able to communicate well with the technical team, busi#ness stakeholder
