Data Scientist

 

The Data Scientist is expected to develop analytical solutions (e.g. insights, visualization, models) to help solve problems and uncover opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Work closely with business partners to understand the business challenges they are facing in order to determine the appropriate analytical solution

  • Designs, implements and continuously improves analytical solutions

  • Utilize machine learning techniques to analyze large amounts of information to find patters and solutions

  • Communicate analytical solutions at different levels of the organization in an organized and compelling manner using fit-for -purpose materials

  • Collaborate with Business and IT Teams to maximize use of data and analytical resources

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Graduate of Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Management or similar undergraduate course; Masters/ PhD a plus

  • At least 5 years' work experience in the field of Data and Analytics, preferably from Financial Industry

  • Should have good command of R, Python, PowerBI, SQL, and at least one of the skills below: Business Intelligence, Campaign Analytics, Modelling

  • Knowledge area in Theoretical and practical business requirements analysis, basic project management, data management, data mining to extract usable data from various sources

 

The candidate must be willing to work onsite in Makati.
