Job Summary:
The Compliance Systems Support Officer is responsible for leading the administration, support, and continuous improvement of all systems under the department. The role ensures the stability, performance, and reliability of systems through effective issue investigation and resolution, while also managing end-to-end project delivery for system deployments, enhancements, and upgrades.
The position plays a critical role in capturing and translating business, functional, and data requirements into system specifications, ensuring alignment with operational needs and strategic objectives. In addition, the role provides data support to various units and ensures that all systems consistently comply with applicable regulatory, audit, and internal governance requirements. Domain knowledge or expertise include, but not limited to, Regulatory Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, and Sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Systems Administration and Support
- Oversee day-to-day system operations to ensure availability, stability, security, and controlled user access in accordance with internal IT and information security policies.
- Perform system maintenance and upgrades while ensuring adherence to change management and control procedures.
- Issue Investigation and Resolution
- Lead root cause analysis of system issues, including incidents with potential operational, compliance, or regulatory impact.
- Ensure timely resolution, proper escalation, and complete documentation in line with incident management and audit requirements.
- Project Management for Systems Initiatives
- Manage system deployments, enhancements, and upgrades in compliance with project governance, SDLC, and change management frameworks.
- Ensure risks, controls, and regulatory considerations are appropriately integrated into project delivery.
- Requirements Management
- Capture and document business, functional, and regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with compliance standards and control expectations.
- Maintain traceability of requirements to system design, testing, and implementation to support audit validation.
- Data Requirements Support
- Provide data support for operational, analytical, and regulatory reporting requirements, including AML and risk monitoring needs.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity in accordance with data governance and data privacy standards.
- Regulatory Compliance Oversight
- Ensure systems are compliant with applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., BSP, AMLC), internal policies, and control frameworks.
- Support regulatory examinations, audits, and reviews, and ensure timely remediation of identified findings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Coordinate with business, compliance, risk, audit, and IT units to ensure systems support regulatory and operational requirements.
- Facilitate alignment of system capabilities with enterprise-wide compliance and risk management initiatives.
- Policies, Standards, and Procedures
- Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures aligned with IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Ensure consistent implementation of controls across system support and administration activities.
- System Performance Monitoring and Improvement
- Monitor system performance, availability, and control effectiveness using defined metrics and thresholds.
- Implement improvements to address control gaps, operational risks, and audit findings.
- Technology and Regulatory Awareness
- Stay updated on regulatory issuances, technology risks, and industry best practices relevant to system management and AML/compliance functions.
Drive adoption of solutions that enhance system controls, compliance capability, and overall risk management effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of Business Management or any related IT course
- Minimum of five (5) years banking experience, preferably on Regulatory Compliance, Anti -Money Laundering, and/or Sustainability related.
- Fast learner, good interpersonal skills, hardworking; Experienced in IT related work, Internal Audit or case investigation; IT project management; Knowledgeable and Familiarity in BSP related requirements, banking laws and AML law; Proficient on IT and Business Processes and life cycle
