Compliance Checking Officer

Job Mandate
The Compliance Checking Officer / Processor is primarily responsible for the processing of loan accounts through documentary deficiencies validation and compliance checking in accordance with approved terms and conditions, standard operating procedures, Bank policies and guidelines and within the set service levels agreed with various business units such as, but not limited to, Institutional Banking Group (IBG), Consumer Banking Group (CBG), BDO Finance (BDOFC), Branch Banking Group (BBG) and Remedial Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Processes loan accounts through documentary deficiencies validation and compliance checking
2. Prepares certifications, letters to government agencies, clients, other bank, developers, dealers and sellers and documents and checklist needed for registration, certification of loan / lease and collateral documents for reconciliation of documents safekept with SCU, as applicable. Prepares monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports, as assigned.
3. Sets-up and updates facility and collateral details in International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS), Ambit Asset Finance (AAF) and Factors Management System (FAMS), as applicable.
4. Processes notarization (bank’s signatories) of documents.
5. Scans and indexes documents in Document Management Imaging (DMI) in accordance with the chart of documents.
6. Safe-keeps collateral related documents while awaiting submission of titles from the developer (for CBG only).
7. Culls loan / lease documents in loan / lease folder in accordance with the chart of documents
8. Performs other related functions as may be assigned from time to time
