Job Summary


The Change Manager is responsible for the governance, administration, execution, and continuous improvement of the IT Change Management process, ensuring that changes to applications, infrastructure, systems, and services are implemented in a controlled manner with minimal disruption to business operations. The role is accountable for evaluating, coordinating, and governing the lifecycle of changes from request submission through implementation and closure.


The Change Manager facilitates Change Advisory Board (CAB) discussions, and stakeholder engagements to ensure that all planned changes are properly assessed, approved, communicated, documented, tested, and implemented in accordance with established policies, standards, and service assurance practices.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Manage and Govern the Change Management Process

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of Change Requests.
  • Review, assess, prioritize, approve, reject, or escalate changes based on risk, impact, urgency, and business requirements.

 

Facilitate Change Reviews and Approvals

  • Coordinate and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) and related governance meetings.
  • Ensure changes meet approval and readiness requirements prior to implementation.

 

Coordinate Change Scheduling and Implementation

  • Maintain the enterprise change calendar and oversee change scheduling activities.
  • Monitor implementations to ensure adherence to approved plans and successful execution.

 

Monitor, Report, and Improve Process Performance

  • Track change performance metrics, implementation outcomes, and compliance levels.
  • Conduct post-deployment reviews and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare periodic management reports and dashboards.


Maintain Change Management Documentation

  • Ensure policies, procedures, templates, records, and knowledge documents are current, accurate, and compliant with audit requirements.

 

Other Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on Change Management processes and requirements.
  • Assist in Change Management training, awareness, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Support ITSM tool enhancements, automation, and governance activities.
  • Participate in audit, compliance, and risk management activities as required.
  • Perform other job-related duties assigned by management.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • At least 7–10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, IT Service Management, Operations, Project Management, or Governance functions
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Change Management, Release Management, Service Management, Technology Operations, or related areas. 
  • Experience facilitating CAB, governance reviews, and change approval processes.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries is an advantage. 
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati
