Business Systems Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Production Support
◦ Provides assistance to application users in their daily production issues/help desk assistance and coordinate with appropriate unit such as IT Units and or external vendor for the resolution.
◦ Implements service level standards to ensure timely resolution of production issues.
◦ Assist in the implementation of production fixes such as
▪ Prepares and reviews Incident Report / Business Requirement
▪ Prepares and reviews Work Plan / Schedule
▪ Conducts UAT for production fixes needed
1. Leads UAT testing
2. Consolidates UAT documents
3. Performs EOD/parameter maintenance in testing environment
4. Conducts walk through with Business Unit for fixes implemented
▪ Prepares required documentation and sign-off needed for production implementation
◦ Provides update to Supervisor on resolution of issues.
2. Maintenance of Application
◦ Monitors daily system run / activities such as Avaloq, GPUB, Stockss.net, IPMS, ICBS and other interfacing systems (CCM, SSO, ECM, etc) among others.
◦ Point person for periodic system maintenance or other IT activities such as but not limited to security patches, vulnerability assessment, server upgrades, etc.
◦ Key contact for periodic business and technical contingency (“TCP”) /disaster recovery related activities
3. User ID administrator
◦ Performs user ID maintenance (creation, disabling, password reset) for Business Unit managed applications.
◦ Implements and review parameter change requirement of system application.
◦ Establishes/maintains security matrix of system applications and coordinates implementation with IT Operations. 4. Other administrative functions
◦ Ensure all applications are in compliance with the regulation of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Philippine Dealing and Exchange Corporation (PDEx), Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and Capital Markets Integrity Corporation (CMIC). Any findings / observations from audit related and comments are addressed / considered / included / discussed /mitigated / implemented accordingly.
◦ Updates Supervisor on various tasks being handled. Provide period report on tasks assigned.
◦ May work on shifting and or holidays as necessary for a production issue resolution / implementation.
◦ Perform other duties and responsibilities as maybe assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Must have Business Analyst/System Analyst and Product Support/UAT experience
- Open to candidates coming from IT services/financial services sectors
- Must have at least to 5 uears of relevant work experience
