Business Project Manager
Makati City, National Capital Region, PH
Job Mandate
The Business Project Manager will be assigned to various projects across BDO business units and its subsidiaries to implement projects in close collaboration with the Business Analyst, Subject matter experts (SMEs), IT project manager and key business stakeholders.
The Project Manager must ensure on-time, on budget and within scope implementation of the assigned project, reports to a Project Management Section Head who oversees the project progress, completion and handling of escalations.
The Business Project Manager will be assigned to various projects across BDO business units and its subsidiaries, delivering the following services in close collaboration with IT project management and key business stakeholders:
- Plan Current State Analysis
- Plan Future State Design
- Plan and Manage User Acceptance Test
- Plan and Manage Business Roll-out
- Monitor Business Value Delivered
- Drive Post Implementation Review (Scope, Time, Budget, Lessons Learned and Residual Risks)
Responsibilities:
The Business Project Manager is expected to deliver the following project documentation:
1. Design
i) Detailed Plan for Current State Analysis
ii) Detailed Plan for Future State Process Design and Target Operating Model
iii) Manage Business Project Services (BPS) Deliverables and align milestone dates with the IT Project Manager
2. Build
i) User Acceptance Test Plan
ii) User Acceptance Test Execution Management
3. Roll-Out
i) Operational Readiness Plan
ii) Roll-out Plan
iii) Value Tracking Report
iv) Lessons Learned
v) Residual Risks Report (process debt, technical debt)
vi) Post Implementation Report
Qualifications:
- Education - Graduate of any course related to business or information technology is a plus but not a requirement
- Work Experience - At least 2 years of cumulative experience in project management in a commercial or universal bank environment. Has experience in handling IT-enabled projects following Waterfall, Lean/Agile, Hybrid Project Methodology
- Knowledgeable in the following Project Management knowledge areas:

-Project Cost Management
-Project Quality Management
-Project Human Resource Management
-Project Communications Management
-Project Risk Management
-Project Procurement Management
-Project Stakeholder Management
- Professional Certification & Licenses - Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is an advantage
