Job Summary
Primarily responsible for acquiring clients to have Cash Management Services, which will support the target of the SME Business Development. The position is responsible for identifying potential clients, making effective sales presentation, consistent follow through and signing-up of clients aligned to the acquisition strategies of the Business Development Team. The position likewise ensure that good relationship with external and internal partners are maintained in order to grow cash management revenues consistent with overall Bank strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client acquisition and expansion
- Achieve financial targets by (a) acquiring new names and (b) closing deals that offer new/additional products/solutions (up-sell/cross-sell) to existing clients
- Develop account plans and sales proposals that demonstrate a good understanding of (a) the clients' cash management cycle and (b) the appropriate CMS solutions to address their needs and pain points and increase BDO's wallet share
- Grow the portfolio by maintaining a pipeline of clients, generating client leads, sourcing client referrals, and developing other strategies
- Drive revenue recognition by (a) ensuring timeliness, completeness, correctness, and accuracy of submitted client documents and client instructions; (b) ensuring agreed commercial terms and pricing are met by clients; and (c) ensuring fees and balances required from the client are sufficient
- Management of client relationships
- Advise clients regarding CMS product developments and/or enhancements, and synthesize client feedback data in order to ensure the clients' needs are met
- Understand industry/market trends and build knowledge of competitors in order to provide insights into product development and competitive positioning
- Management of internal partners
- Establish strong working relationships with internal partners
- Regularly engage internal partners regarding CMS product developments and/or enhancements, client pipelines, and status of referrals

- Performs other responsibilities/tasks that may be assigned to meet the objectives of the group/bank
Qualifications:
- Holder of a Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years Sales / Business Development experience handling Cash Management
- Minimum of 2 years experience in relationship or account management
- Basic knowledge in spreadsheet, documents, and presentation applications (e.g. MS Office)
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas.
