Associate Account Officer

BDO Securities Brokerage Sales offers investment services to the Mass Affluent customer base of the Bank. Account Officers are mapped to customers for them to manage and deepen customer relationships with as a single point of contact for their investment
needs. They will be directly responsible for interfacing and engaging with customers on a day -to -day basis as well as liaise with branches and other business units on customer referrals. Key activities include sales, customer service, and administration.
The Associate Account Officer (AAO) is primarily responsible for supporting the Account Officer (AO) or Senior Account Officer (SAO) as the service contact for BDO Securities Brokerage clients of the Center. He/ She is tasked to engage with them on deepening relationship management and to assist the AO/SAO in administrative areas covering the latter’s efforts in customer on-boarding,
account servicing, transaction processing, report generation, and sales/account information management. He/ She is expected to deliver in a timely manner and in alignment with prescribed bank policies and procedures, internal control, external regulatory requirements and compliance to service standards. In the absence of the AO/SAO, the AAO may act as the back-up AO to ensure the efficient, seamlessly consistent and continuous delivery of services to clients.
Responsibilities:
On a daily basis, the Associate Account Officer will be responsible for:
A. Sales Business Management
1. Supports cross-selling and referral efforts to contribute to overall administrative sales support if needed
2. In the absence in the availability of the client, clarification of documents and certifications received by the client
B. Client Relationship Management
1. Contribute in the development of strong customer relationships and customer loyalty through consistent delivery of accurate and timely service.
C. Customer Service Management
1. Serves the BDO Securities Brokerage Sales customers on their Wealth Management banking needs.
2. Takes full ownership and provides solutions to customers’ problems, ensuring satisfaction of problem resolution
3. Exercises due diligence in customer care to deliver good customer contact experience with BDO, e.g. follow up and call back to customers.
4 Answers customers' and branches queries or other requests
D. Compliance and Control
1. Complies with BDO operational policies and procedures to ensure security of Bank’s and customers’ assets.
2. Ensures proper documentation of all transactions to be audit-ready at all times and performs regular assessment on compliance.
3. Checks sales and transaction documents with attention to details to avoid errors and discrepancies.
4. Works closely with AO/SAO and to ensure sales compliance and follows up on deals closed by AO/SAO
5. Escalates concerns and issues raised by clients or branches to the Account Officer for immediate resolution.
E. Documentation and Records Management and Sales Reporting
1.. Supports the AO/SAO in preparing documentation, system consultation and giving service advice.
2. Ensures all sales documents and forms are properly reviewed and verified.
3. Tracks sales and statistics to generate business reports, as needed.
4. Maintains and safe keeps client files/documents in accordance with the Data Privacy Act
5. Conducts housekeeping regularly
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree graduate with relevant experience of frontline service is preferred
- Microsoft Officer and other office computer applications
- Efficient in oral and written communication, numerical aptitude and organization skills
The candidate must be willing to work onsite in the following hiring locations: Makati or Ortigas.
