BASIC FUNCTION
 
• Responsible for assisting the Team Leader/Team Head in business development and new business acquisition through the effective implementation of processes and procedures related to client servicing, account management, and sales operations.
 
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
A. Core Functions (80%)
 
• Prepare proposals, placement requests, and endorsements within the prescribed turnaround time.
 
• Ensure that proposals are submitted to branches and clients on time and are properly acknowledged.
 
• Complete and forward placement requests to the Placement Team within established timelines.
 
• Coordinate and negotiate with insurance partners to secure the most competitive rates, terms, and conditions based on client requirements.
 
• Monitor and facilitate the placement of insurance coverage for newly approved home loan accounts.
 
• Evaluate insurance risks and recommend enhancements or improvements to existing insurance packages.
 
• Attend and participate in meetings with insurance partners to obtain updates and address operational issues or concerns.
 
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
 
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with BDO branches, Consumer Banking Group (CBG) counterparts, insurance providers, and other internal units to ensure seamless service delivery.
 
• Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from internal and external clients.
 
• Handle requests involving accounts receivable dispositions, unapplied payments, and refund accounts.
 
• Conduct call-out activities and follow-ups on pending quotations.
 
• Monitor Corporate Asset Risk Insurance (CARI) and pre-selling accounts to ensure timely processing and servicing.
 
 
B. Other Functions (15%)
 
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, as required.
 
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate superior, Team Head, or Senior Management.
 
 
C. Training and Development (5%)
 
• Participate in internal and external training programs to support professional growth and competency development.
 
• Keep abreast of industry trends, insurance products, regulatory developments, and best practices relevant to the role.
 
• Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional excellence.
