Job Summary



The Control and Monitoring Officer is responsible for ensuring that the daily functions are met according to team’s standards, policies, and procedures such as helping to ensure that all accounts assigned to the team are reconciled and that all that floats are immediately acted upon, coordinated with units concerned, and monitored until resolved in line with the Banks standards and requirements.





Key Responsibilities



  • Review and approve transactions and reports based on existing matrix of approval

  • Monitor daily reconciliation/reports preparation of subsidiary offices

  • Monitor credit line availment and compliance of subsidiaries in their allowable lag time in remitting funds

  • Assign, schedule, monitor, and evaluate tasks of Subsidiary Support Assistants

  • Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements





Qualifications



  • Bachelors’ degree in any business course

  • 3 years work experience (Banking operations experience is preferred)

  • Required Skills: Analytical skill, Conflict Management, Relationship Management

  • Willing to work on holidays and/or weekends when needed

  • Willing to work on graveyard schedule when needed
