The Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) is primarily responsible for supporting the Relationship Manager (RM). He/She is tasked to engage with them on deepening relationship management and to assist the RM in administrative areas covering the latter's efforts in customer on-boarding, account servicing, transaction processing, report generation, and sales/account information management. He/She is expected to deliver in a timely manner and in alignment with prescribed bank policies and procedures, internal control, external regulatory requirements and compliance to service standards. In the absence of the RM, the ARM may act as the back-up RM to ensure the efficient, seamlessly consistent and continuous delivery of services to clients.

On a daily basis, the Associate Relationship Manager will be responsible for:

A. Customer engagement

  1. Serves customers on their Wealth Management banking needs.
  2. Develops strong customer relationships and builds customer loyalty through consistent delivery of accurate and timely service.
  3. Takes full ownership and provides solutions to customers’ problems, ensuring satisfaction of problem resolution
  4. Exercises due diligence in customer care to deliver good customer contact experience with BDO, e.g. follow up and call back to customers.
  5. Supports cross-selling and referral efforts to contribute to overall administrative sales support as needed.
  6. Makes relationship calls every day to bond and interact with customers at a personalized level, e.g. birthday and significant customer milestones.
  7. Acts as back-up Relationship Manager in the event the RM is not available to ensure the efficient and continuous delivery of services to clients.
  8. Answers customers’ and branches’ queries or other requests.

 

B. Compliance and Control

  1. Complies with BDO operational policies and procedures to ensure security of Bank’s and customers’ assets.
  2. Ensures proper documentation of all transactions to be audit-ready at all times and performs regular assessment on compliance.
  3. Checks sales and transaction documents with attention to details to avoid errors and discrepancies.
  4. Works closely with RM and to ensure sales compliance and follows up on deals closed by RM.
  5. Escalates concerns and issues raised by clients or branches to the Relationship Manager for immediate resolution.
  6. Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time

 

C. Paperwork & Administration

  1. Conducts housekeeping regularly.
  2. Supports the RM in preparing documentation, system consultation and giving service advice.
  3. Ensures all sales documents and forms are properly reviewed and verified.
  4. Tracks sales and statistics to generate business reports, as needed.
  5. Maintains and safe keeps client files/documents in accordance with the Data Privacy Act
