Deputy Operations Head
The Deputy Operations Head is responsible for overseeing daily operations of Treasury, International & Loans Units, and Private Banking Operations. This role ensures efficient delivery of services, compliance with regulatory standards, and drives operational improvements. The position also manages physical security and premises upkeep.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations for Loans, Trade, Treasury, and Wealth transactions.
- Ensure compliance with HKMA, BSP, and internal policies.Drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Approve and verify transactions within authority limits.
- Collaborate across departments to streamline workflows.
- Monitor and mitigate operational risks.Manage IT-related operational systems and participate in UAT.
- Handle client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Lead and develop operations team members.
- Address audit findings and ensure timely implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field.
- 7–10 years of branch banking experience, including customer service and operations.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, products, and regulatory compliance (HKMA & BSP).
- Proficient in business applications and data analytics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multi-cultural environments.
