Job Summary

The Marketing Officer for OFW Programs is responsible for conducting financial literacy, product presentations, webinars and other similar engagements with the aim of marketing the Bank’s remittance products and services. In this role, the candidate is expected to maintain good business relationships with the Pre-Departure Orientation (PDOS) partners and related government agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducts financial literacy and presentations of BDO products and services via webinars or at physical venues

• Prepares reports on the accounts acquired during webinars/seminars and coordination with branches

• Prepares marketing materials for participants

• Sources new PDOS providers, land based and shipping agencies for product presentation and account acquisition

• Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Completion of a Bachelors’ degree, preferably in a Business course; Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

• Banking experience is an advantage

Required Skills

• Proficient in computer and business applications

• Effective oral and written communication skills

• Good sales and negotiation skills

• Ability to multitask and can work well under pressure

• Willingness to travel and go on short term assignments outside Metro Cebu
