Job Summary

 

The Account Officer is responsible for achieving loan volume targets. In this role, the Account Officer is expected to maintain profitability and sound credit quality, as well as extend good customer service in line with the Banks standards and requirements. The Account Officer is also expected to attend to inquiries of clients on MSME loans. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customerAnalyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loansInitiates credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accountsCoordinates with other bank officers or units related to the processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clientsPerform other functions that may be assigned to him/herEnsure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements

 

Qualifications

 

Completion of any Bachelors’ degreeSales and fieldwork experience on Microfinance is an advantage 

 

Required Skills: 

 

 

Good selling and customer service skillsBasic mathematical skills Preferably can drive a motorcycle
